Lokahi Ka'u is located on an approximately 10 acre site in Kailua Kona.  The project is less than 2 miles from the Kailua Kona airport and contains 306 units located in 18 newly-constructed buildings.  289 of the 306 units were offered to low-income tenants whose income is at or below 60% of median income and 17 units were offered to low-income tenants whose income is at or below 30% of median income.

Each unit at Lokahi Ka'u contains a refrigerator, range, carpet, ceiling fan and access to cable and high-speed internet.  All two bedroom units have patios and washer/dryer facilities. 

Four active recreational areas are included within the project site.  These facilities include a half-size basketball court, volleyball court, exercise/game pavilion and playground equipment for children.  The pavilion also includes an interior office for the manager and leasing agents, and the project holds 460 uncovered parking spaces.
